Kōkiri is a Māori business acceleration programme, based on kaupapa Māori values, focused on accelerating early stage Māori led start-ups who have bold ambitions, are impact positive and technology based.
Our mission is to support Māori-led start-ups that have high-growth potential to develop their business capability and wellbeing, through tailored experiential based learning, supported by mentors, coaches, and experts in a safe and culturally responsive learning environment
We aim to build a strong, connected, and valuable community that is investable, who are enriched through Te Ao Māori, and make positive economic, social, cultural, and environmental impacts in Aotearoa and Te Ao.

You’re invited to the official launch of Kōkiri 2020! Hear from the new Kōkiri delivery team about the updates and changes made for the 2020 programme. Plus it’s a great opportunity to connect with your Māori startup community to celebrate the end of the year.
We’re running info sessions to meet with potential teams and to share the Kōkiri 2020 kaupapa. Kōkiri alumnus, Lee Timutimu joining us on the road as our kaikōrero (guest speaker) and will share his start-up journey with Arataki Systems. Join us in Wellington, Auckland and Whangarei in December.

Applications are open!
Up to 10 ventures will be accepted into the 2020 programme, gaining access to Aotearoa’s dedicated Māori business accelerator with access to start-up mentors, coaches, investor networks plus a $10,000 start-up grant.
Programme participants will complete a unique education, capability and founder wellbeing programme over 12 weeks. At the end of the programme, each venture will have the opportunity to pitch to an investor panel and then their whānau, supporters and the wider business community at our Showcase Day.
